Meeting Days and Times:
Students are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances. As we meet twice a week, doctor’s appointments should not be scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays (unless it is an emergency situation).
Chronic absences, absences directly before a performance, or being picked up late on multiple occasions will lead to dismissal from the group. Parents will be notified of specific dates and times of performances in as far advance as possible, and with a minimum of 3 days notice.
Each student will be given a limit of 3 strikes before being dismissed from the group. The strikes can be administered for things such as being disrespectful or not attending rehearsal regularly. With each strike, letter will be sent home with the student that must be signed by the parent and returned by the next rehearsal. After the third strike, the student will be asked to leave the group and will have to return the following year.

Students are not required to fund-raise. All proceeds go to benefit the Austell Chorus & Music Department.
**As a chorus, we rely heavily on our participation. Therefore each individual student must meet these guidelines in order to have a successful year. I hope that you decide to join us as we embark on this incredible adventure.**
